X-ray Counters

X-ray detectors are devices used to measure the intensity, spatial distribution, spectrum, and/or other characteristics of X-ray radiation. Detectors manufactured by NPF Consensus LLC are gas-filled proportional counters. A proportional counter is a gas-discharge device for detecting ionizing radiation, generating a signal whose amplitude is proportional to the energy of the detected particle lost within its volume due to ionization.
